Shipping and delivery.
Last updated 5 September 2026
The short version. Most orders are made in 2 to 7 business days, then delivered by our local courier, or by DHL Express if you are overseas. Local delivery is a flat price you see at checkout. Overseas shipping is an estimate and we confirm the real cost before charging. Delivery time starts when your proof is approved, not when you order.
1. How long your order takes
Two things add up: making it, then delivering it.
Making it usually takes 2 to 7 business days, depending on the material, how complex the artwork is, and how many pieces you need. Each product page shows its own turnaround.
The clock starts when you approve your proof. If we send a proof on Monday and you approve it on Thursday, those three days are not production time. Approving quickly is the single best way to get your order sooner.
Large or corporate orders take longer. We will give you a timeline before you commit.
2. Delivery inside Trinidad and Tobago
- Express delivery, same day where we can reach you, otherwise first thing the next morning
- Standard delivery, tracked, usually 1 to 2 business days after dispatch
One flat price each, anywhere in Trinidad and Tobago, shown at checkout before you pay.
If you are sending us your own item to engrave, tick the box at checkout. We will contact you to arrange collecting it, and the delivery you paid for covers getting the finished piece back to you.
3. International delivery
- DHL Express Worldwide, the fastest option, timing depends on destination
- Overseas delivery prices shown at checkout are estimates. We confirm the exact rate by email before we charge anything.
International shipping prices at checkout are estimates only. The real cost depends on the weight, the size of the parcel and the destination. We confirm the exact amount with you before taking payment. If the real cost is lower than the estimate, you pay the lower amount.
4. Customs, duties and taxes
Orders leaving Trinidad and Tobago may attract import duty, tax or a handling fee in the destination country. These charges are yours to pay and are not included in anything you pay us. They are set by the destination country, not by TechEng, and we cannot predict or refund them.
We declare the contents and value of every parcel honestly. We cannot mark an order as a gift or state a lower value, as that is illegal.
5. Tracking
When your order ships we email you a tracking number. You can also see it any time in your account, or by using your order reference and email on the account page.
6. Delivery addresses
We ship to the address you give at checkout. Please check it carefully. If an order is returned to us because the address was wrong or incomplete, we will resend it once you pay the return and reshipping costs.
If nobody is available to receive a courier delivery, the courier will follow its own procedure, which usually means a card and a second attempt or a collection point.
7. Cash on delivery
Available for local orders. You pay the courier when your order reaches you. There is no order size limit on cash on delivery.
If a cash on delivery order is refused or nobody pays on arrival, the order comes back to us. Because the item is personalised and cannot be resold, we may ask for payment in advance on any future orders.
8. Delays outside our control
Once a parcel is with our courier or with DHL, it is in their hands. Weather, customs inspections, public holidays and courier backlogs can all add time. We will help you chase anything that seems stuck, but we cannot guarantee a courier's delivery date.
9. Something wrong on arrival
If your order arrives damaged, tell us within 3 days with photographs. See our Refund and Returns Policy for what happens next.
